We present the first CMOS ASIC to support either 4x25Gb/s eCPRI or 4x24.33Gb/s CPRI-10 traffic per optical wavelength and demonstrate 200Gb/s and 400Gb/s transmissions in O and C bands over 20km for hybrid LTE-5G fronthaul networks.

Quantization-Noise Suppression for Uplink eCPRI Assisted by Wireless-Channel Estimation Feedback

The behavior of quantization-noise in uplink eCPRI under the influence of wireless-channel fading is theoretically analyzed. And a noise-suppression method based on low-complexity DSP is demonstrated by standard-channel modeling and experimental transmission, which can reduce 6.5-dB noise power.
