Long‐Lasting Simultaneous Epidermal and Dermal Microneedle‐Enabled Drug Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 4, February 19, 2025.
Microneedle arrays (MNAs) with nonlinear designs are engineered to address skin diseases at varying depths by enabling simultaneous long‐lasting drug delivery. The MNAs feature needles of different heights and base diameters, allowing targeted, prolonged, or intermittent drug release based on biodegradation kinetics.
