Eczema Herpeticum in a Man of 68

Dermatologica, 2009
A male of 68 with eczema herpeticum is described. He had dominant ichthyosis vulgaris complicated by an exfoliative dermatitis precipitated by an allergic contact dermatitis. The background of contact dermatitis seems most relevant in this patient.
