On the Advection–Diffusion Process With Developing Eddies in Karst Conduits
Understanding the fluid flow and solute transport in karst conduits is significant for preventing pollutants (treated as solutes) in karst areas. This study evaluates the evolution of eddies in semi‐circular rough conduits under different hydrodynamic ...

Using high-frequency radars, ocean surface currents were mapped every hour over an area of ≈5000 km2 in the inner Gulf of Tehuantepec (Mexico). The coastal circulation patterns (≈100 km offshore) were studied during spring, summer, and autumn 2006.

Eddy‐Induced Dispersion of Sea Ice Floes at the Marginal Ice Zone
Ocean heat exchanges at the marginal ice zone (MIZ) play an important role in melting sea ice. Mixed‐layer eddies transport heat and ice floes across the MIZ, facilitating the pack's access to warm waters. This study explores these frontal dynamics using

This study proposes a deep learning approach to evaluate the fatigue crack behavior in metals under overload conditions. Using digital image correlation to capture the strain near crack tips, convolutional neural networks classify crack states as normal, overload, or recovery, and accurately predict fatigue parameters.

Intelligent Operator‐Independent Flexibility in Robotic Non‐Destructive Evaluation
Non‐destructive evaluation of high‐value components remains a manufacturing bottleneck due to rigid robotic calibration and fixturing. This study presents a flexible, adaptable system integrating 3D vision and force‐position control with a collaborative KUKA LBR robot. The geometry‐agnostic system enables pose‐independent ultrasonic inspection, detects

ABSTRACT This article reflects on the construction of a supportive community of Black Afro‐diasporic graduate students and their supervisors researching issues relating to race in the field of education in Australia. It draws on the concept of marronage—a term rooted in the fugitive act of becoming a maroon, where enslaved people enacted an escape in ...

ABSTRACT Children experiencing parental imprisonment are known to be among the most overlooked in our community. They often experience multiple and compounding disadvantages, with long‐term consequences, but receive no specialised assistance. Knowledge about these children and their families is lacking in Australia and is required to inform policy ...
