Analysis of AC winding loss of permanent magnet synchronous traction motor with high power
In a multiple-pole and high-power PMSTM with high fundamental frequency, the harmonic frequency of the internal magnetic field increases accordingly. The harmonic magnetic field will induce eddy current in the winding, resulting in high-frequency eddy ...

Experimental Study of Iron Losses Generated by a Uniform Rotating Field [PDF]
This paper introduces a mock-up with a solid iron cylinder rotating in a fixed excitation frame powered by dc current. A uniform field is created in the rotating cylinder, which is driven by an external motor. The braking torque is measured, allowing the

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Multi-field analysis of energy loss and temperature distribution in magnetic couplings
The operation of magnetic couplings produces eddy current losses that lead to heat buildup. Excessive temperatures can demagnetize the couplings, ultimately causing transmission failure.

Analysis and Experiment of Eddy Current Loss in Radial Magnetic Bearings with Solid Rotor
In order to reduce power losses for the aerospace applications, this paper analyzes the eddy current losses produced by high-speed rotating solid rotor core magnetic bearings of magnetically suspended control & sensitive gyroscope (MSCSG).

Impact of ocean resolution on coupled air-sea fluxes and large-scale climate [PDF]
Air-sea fluxes are a crucial component in the energetics of the global climate system. The largest air-sea fluxes occur in regions of high sea surface temperature variability, such as ocean boundary, frontal currents and eddies.

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.

Glymphatic Dysfunction Reflects Post‐Concussion Symptoms: Changes Within 1 Month and After 3 Months
ABSTRACT Objective Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) may alter glymphatic function; however, its progression and variability remain obscure. This study examined glymphatic function following mTBI within 1 month and after 3 months post‐injury to determine whether variations in glymphatic function are associated with post‐traumatic symptom severity ...

Geometrical control of eddy currents in additively manufactured Fe-Si
Additive manufacturing has enabled the processing of high silicon electrical steels which have excellent soft magnetic properties. In bulk form, core losses as a result of eddy currents would be too large to allow their use in high-frequency electrical ...
