The Promise of Solid Lubricants for a Sustainable Future

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Lubricants are vital for technology, saving energy and resources. The industry seeks sustainable solutions beyond fossil fuels. Solid lubricants offer extremely low friction and reduce environmental impact, especially in harsh conditions. Can these solids truly replace liquid lubricants, or are they limited to extreme applications?

Application of Lorentz force eddy current testing and eddy current testing on moving nonmagnetic conductors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics, 2014
Lorentz force eddy current testing is a novel nondestructive testing technique which can be applied preferably to the identification of internal defects in non-ferromagnetic moving conductors. This paper describes the comparison of this new technique with well-known eddy current testing.

Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Eutectozymes as Soft Hybrid Materials for Advanced Biocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Eutectozymes are sustainable hybrid materials that embed a GOx–HRP cascade within hydrophobic eutectogels featuring a dual supramolecular–covalent network. This architecture preserves native enzyme structure and stability, enables efficient heterogeneous biocatalysis in aqueous media, and positions eutectogels as robust platforms for next‐generation ...

Signatures of Edge States in Antiferromagnetic Van der Waals Josephson Junctions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The combination of superconductivity and magnetic textures leads to unconventional superconducting phenomena, including new correlated and topological phases. Van der Waals (vdW) materials emerge as a versatile platform for exploring the interplay between these two competing orders.
