Degree of h-polynomials of edge ideals
Abstract In this paper, we investigate the degree of h-polynomials of edge ideals of finite simple graphs. In particular, we provide combinatorial formulas for the degree of the h-polynomial for various fundamental classes of graphs such as paths, cycles, and bipartite graphs.

The wettability of aluminum droplets (Al) on different copper substrates (Cu), where liquid Al spreads on solid Cu surfaces to form a liquid–solid interface, is studied numerically and experimentally. The experimental and numerical results show good agreement in the fast‐spreading regime.

Ideals generated by 2-minors: binomial edge ideals and polyomino ideals
Since the early 1990s, a classical object in commutative algebra has been the study of binomial ideals. A widely-investigated class of binomial ideals is the one containing those generated by a subset of 2-minors of an (m x n)-matrix of indeterminates.

This paper presents a novel approach to reducing oxide layers on metal powders using low‐temperature hydrogen dielectric barrier discharge plasmas at atmospheric pressure. Unlike conventional hydrogen‐plasma reductions, the powders do not contact the plasma directly.

Exploring Geometrical Properties of Annihilator Intersection Graph of Commutative Rings
Let Λ denote a commutative ring with unity and D(Λ) denote a collection of all annihilating ideals from Λ. An annihilator intersection graph of Λ is represented by the notation AIG(Λ).

Numerical Modeling of Tank Cars Carrying Hazardous Materials With and Without Composite Metal Foam
Large‐scale puncture models consisting of hazardous materials (HAZMATs) tank car with protective steel–steel composite metal foam (S–S CMF) are solved numerically. Tank car plate with added 10.91–13.33 mm thick S–S CMF layer does not puncture. Protective S–S CMF absorbs impact energy, reduces plate deformation, and prevents shear bands formation ...

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.
