Development of Hydrofluoroolefin (HFO)‐based direct O‐fluoroalkenylation of phenols targeting tyrosine conjugation

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Accepted Article.
Methodology for direct fluoroalkenylation of phenolic OH function was developed using a fluorinated electrophilic reagent derived from HFO1234ze gas. Besides various functionalized phenols, tyrosine and tyrosine‐based peptides were successfully conjugated under the optimized reaction conditions.

An Agrin–YAP/TAZ Rigidity Sensing Module Drives EGFR‐Addicted Lung Tumorigenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study identifies agrin‐EGFR mechanotransduction as a critical driver of lung adenocarcinoma which enhances EGFR signaling through an integrin‐FAK‐actomyosin dependent positive feedback on YAP/TAZ ‐TEAD in response to matrix stiffness. Targeting this oncogenic loop through combinatorial treatments inhibits lung cancer due to agrin impairment.

Assessment and Mitigation of CRISPR‐Cas9‐Induced Nontargeted Translocations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Various inverted repeat elements are dispersed throughout genomes. This study reveals that these elements can cause significant chromosomal rearrangements when CRISPR editing occurs in their proximity. The risk can be mitigated by incorporating inverted repeat‐homologous segments into the CRISPR system, which represents a promising strategy for ...

Laurent expansions in cluster algebras via quiver representations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2006
We study Laurent expansions of cluster variables in a cluster algebra of rank 2 associated to a generalized Kronecker quiver. In the case of the ordinary Kronecker quiver, we obtain explicit expressions for Laurent expansions of the elements of the canonical basis for the corresponding cluster algebra.
