A tri‐culture of iPSC‐derived neurons, astrocytes, and microglia treated with ferroptosis inducers as an Induced ferroptosis model was characterized by scRNA‐seq, cell survival, and cytokine release assays. This analysis revealed diverse microglial transcriptomic changes, indicating that the system captures key aspects of the complex cellular ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

The Influence of Laser-Assisted Irrigation on Root Canal Debris Removal
Background: Root canal cleanliness is crucial to the success of endodontic treatment, as residual debris can harbor bacteria that may cause reinfection.

Fixatives, Decalcifiers and Ultrastructure of the organic remnants from mural Nacreous Layers of Fossil Cephalopod Shells [PDF]
The ultrastructure of the organic remnants has been compared in the TEM, after decalcification of the mural nacre of ammonites and fossil nautiloids by EDTA, which removes a soluble fraction, and after fixation and decalcification by formaldehyde-cetyl ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Effect of Different Irrigating Solutions on the Microhardness of Dentin
Background: The selection of irrigating solutions during root canal therapy is essential for maintaining dentin structure and ensuring effective disinfection. However, various irrigants can alter the microhardness of dentin, which might have an impact on

STATISTICAL MEDIA OPTIMIZATION FOR LUTEIN PRODUCTION FROM MICROALGAE Auxenochlorella protothecoides SAG 211-7A [PDF]
In this study, the heterotrophic production potential of the secondary carotenoid lutein by the green microalgae Auxenochlorella protothecoides SAG 211-7a was investigated.

We first identified functional murine mitochondrial N‐formyl peptides (MT‐FPs) and investigated their effects on the in vitro myeloid‐derived suppressor cell (MDSC) generation from bone marrow cells. We demonstrated that MT‐FPs acted directly on bone marrow cells to promote MDSC generation and modulated the polymorphonuclear (PMN)‐MDSC/monocyte (M ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
