Effects of physical exercise on the functionality of human nucleotidases: A systematic review
Physiological Reports, Volume 10, Issue 18, September 2022., 2022 Purinergic signaling represents a novel molecular adaptation in inflammatory, thrombotic, and vascular responses to the exercise. Acute and chronic protocols of exercise induce at least transitory adaptations in the functionality of human nucleotidases. The activity of nucleotidases may be linked to cardiometabolic parameters.

This review is aimed at summarizing phytochemistry and pharmacological data with their molecular mechanisms of action.

Therapeutic Potential of Isoflavones with an Emphasis on Daidzein
Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021 Daidzein is a phytoestrogen isoflavone found in soybeans and other legumes. The chemical composition of daidzein is analogous to mammalian estrogens, and it could be useful with a dual‐directional purpose by substituting/hindering with estrogen and estrogen receptor (ER) complex.
