A novel supported ionic liquid phase (SILP) incorporating both dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and sulfonic acid (SO3H) moieties is reported. This SILP significantly enhances the gram‐scale dehydration of fructose‐to HMF when utilized with deep eutectic solvents (DES).
