Soil Microbial Diversity and Network Organization Respond to Land Use and Agricultural Inputs Worldwide

open access: yesGlobal Change Biology, Volume 32, Issue 7, July 2026.
Based on a global analysis of 1921 soil samples, we show that agricultural management acts as a powerful ecological filter reshaping microbial communities. Land use and inputs—pesticides and fertilizers—drive a functional shift toward opportunistic pathogens and fragmented, less connected microbial networks, potentially compromising soil ecosystem ...

Geometric interpretation of the signs of trigonometric ratios with Geogebra

open access: yesAmazônia, 2017
The teaching of Trigonometry has been characterized by an algebraic approach, which has made its study a memoristic and a mechanical process. A content where the previous can be evidenced is the signs of the trigonometric ratios, which tend to be treated

Non‐Stationary Dry‐Spell Hazard Probabilities for Spain

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, Volume 46, Issue 8, 30 June 2026.
This study assesses long‐term changes in dry‐spell hazard probabilities across Spain (1961–2024) using a novel non‐stationary extreme value framework applied to daily precipitation records from a dense observational network. Results show that dry‐spell duration and associated return levels are dominantly stationary, with non‐stationary models providing

Randomized Hypergraph States and Their Entanglement Properties

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 1, January 2026.
Randomized hypergraph (RH) states are mixed states that extend the concept of randomized graph states to multi‐qubit hypergraphs subject to probabilistic gate imperfections. By modeling noisy multi‐qubit operations, this work reveals nonmonotonic behavior in bipartite and multipartite entanglement, derives analytical witnesses for specific hypergraph ...

Mixed‐Condorcet: An Advanced Method of Clustering for Mixed Data in Social Sciences

open access: yesComputational and Mathematical Methods, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper provides a new clustering method for mixed data based on α‐Condorcet, denoted mixed‐Condorcet, by introducing a new Condorcet criterion. This criterion combines α‐Condorcet and k‐prototype criteria. Next, we give the within‐cluster sum‐of‐squares expression for our new method.

Selective Vapor‐Phase Formic Acid Decomposition Over Carbon‐Supported Rhenium Catalysts with Metallic, Carbide, and Oxide Rhenium Phases

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 14, Issue 12, December 2025.
Carbon‐supported rhenium catalysts with metallic, carbide, and oxide phases were evaluated for vapor‐phase formic acid decomposition. Rhenium carbide exhibited the highest intrinsic activity and superior CO2 selectivity, while graphite provided enhanced dispersion compared to carbon nanotubes, highlighting phase‐dependent performance in hydrogen ...

Teacher Education as an Agent for Sustainability: Validation of an SDGs‐Focused Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior Questionnaire for Pre‐Service Primary Teachers

open access: yesSustainable Development, Volume 33, Issue 6, Page 8057-8071, December 2025.
ABSTRACT This study validates the Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior (KAB) Questionnaire, a comprehensive tool designed to evaluate sustainability‐related knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors among pre‐service primary school teachers, with a specific alignment to five key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The questionnaire, comprising 39 items across
