Phytotherapy Research, EarlyView.Overview of the antileukemic effects of Piper nigrum extract in AML. P. nigrum reduced leukemic cell proliferation and glycolytic metabolism through modulation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway. In vivo, treatment reduced leukemic burden, improved hematological parameters, prolonged survival, and modulated antitumor immune responses.
