This scoping review synthesizes evidence on the prevalence and associated factors of codependency among wives of alcohol users. Findings from 18 studies reveal high rates of codependency (25%–98%), influenced by psychological, social, and physical factors, highlighting the need for targeted psychosocial interventions.
