Orbital angular momentum: origins, behavior and applications [PDF]
As they travel through space, some light beams rotate. Such light beams have angular momentum. There are two particularly important ways in which a light beam can rotate: if every polarization vector rotates, the light has spin; if the phase structure ...

Angular momentum projection with quantum effects
Physical Review C, 1991We have improved a simple and rapid method of calculating expectation values of operators in states of good angular momentum projected from a hedgehog baryon state introduced by Birse et al. We have included the contributions of quantum mesons, while in the original method only classical meson fields were included. The method has been applied to models

Angular Momentum Effects in Coaxial Multipactor
2021 IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS), 2021Multipactor is a resonant RF discharge of secondary electrons from metal or dielectric surfaces. In the right conditions, this electron avalanche is a catastrophic process that can distort the original signal in the transmission line 1 , produce unwanted localized heating, and even destroy the system on hand.

ANGULAR MOMENTUM AND SPIN EFFECTS ON THE DIQUARK FORMATION
International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2011Quark interactions inside baryons depend on the spin states of the quarks. We investigated the contribution of the spin–spin interactions of quarks in comparison with other factors necessary for diquark formation in baryons, concluding that the effects of spin–spin interactions are correlated with the state of angular momentum excitation.

Angular momentum effects in preequilibrium cluster emission
Physical Review C, 1987The preequilibrium emission of ..cap alpha.. particles was studied by observing the precompound decay of the /sup 65/Zn/sup */ composite system. Several entrance channels were used, covering a range of angular momenta up to about 40h-dash-bar. A model interpretation is presented which does not employ cluster preformation assumptions or parameters.

Angular Momentum Effects in Excited Atoms
Journal of the Chinese Chemical Society, 2001AbstractSpin‐orbit and electron exchange effects may be identified separately through the observation of “integrated” Stokes parameters of the radiation from excited states after impact by spin‐polarized electrons. The principles underpinning the measurements and the techniques are described.
