Recreational effects on riparian areas
, 1994 Historically, riparian areas have been used by people as a source of food and water, as travel corridors, and as recreational areas. Only recently the recreational effects of people on riparian zones have been actively considered. The primary effects associated with recreation are soil compaction, vegetation change, erosion, and waste.

Insights into a long life without cancer: The case of the bowhead whale
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Long‐lived, large‐bodied organisms have evolved powerful anticancer mechanisms that preserve cellular and tissue integrity across extended lifespans. A recent study by Firsanov et al. shows that greater genome stability is a key factor underlying the remarkable longevity and cancer resistance of one such species, the bowhead whale.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.
