Large-Scale Rate-Splitting Multiple Access in Uplink UAV Networks: Effective Secrecy Throughput Maximization Under Limited Feedback Channel [PDF]
UAVs are capable of improving the performance of next generation wireless systems. Specifically, UAVs can be exploited as aerial base-stations (UAV-BS) for supporting legitimate ground users in remote uncovered areas or in environments temporarily requiring high capacity.

Artificial Noise Injection–Based Secrecy Improvement for FSO Systems
In this paper, an artificial noise (AN) injection technique is incorporated in a free-space optical (FSO) communication system with the aim of enhancing the secrecy performance of the system. An intensity modulated direct detection (IM/DD) FSO link which

Enhancing Physical Layer Secrecy Performance for RIS-Assisted RF-FSO Mixed Wireless System
The reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) is widely recognized as an effective solution for enhancing security in wireless communications, owing to its passive reflective components and the ability to adjust signal phases. In light of this, this study

The underlay cognitive radio-based hybrid radio frequency / free-space optical (RF / FSO) systems have been emerged as a promising technology due to its ability to eliminate spectrum scarcity and spectrum under-utilization problems. Consequently, this work analyzes the physical layer security aspects of a cognitive RF / FSO hybrid network that includes

This study discusses an augmented investigation of the hybrid wiretap channel, which represents a PLC system with its data security threatened by a malicious and passive wireless device at the physical layer level, by focusing on the evaluation and analysis of wiretap code rates. The wiretap code rates are obtained through effective secrecy throughput.
