Secure Transmission for Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer in AF Untrusted Relay Networks

open access: yesSensors, 2018
This paper investigates secure communications of energy harvesting untrusted relay networks, where the destination assists jamming signal to prevent the untrusted relay from eavesdropping and to improve the forwarding ability of the energy constrained ...

Non‐Continuous Iridescent Variable Structural Color Based on Metallic Surface Periodic Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study presents an ink‐free laser nanofabrication technique that generates periodic arched microstructures on titanium surfaces, achieving non‐continuous iridescent dual‐color switching. The ridge and side flanks of these structures possess distinct oxide film thicknesses, enabling angle‐dependent selective reflection of specific wavelengths.

Physical Layer Security in an Untrusted Energy Harvesting Relay Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The security performance in an amplify-and-forward dual-hop untrusted relay network is considered. It is assumed that the source and multiple destinations are equipped with multiple antennas, and the information transmission is aided by a single-antenna ...

Techniques for Enhanced Physical-Layer Security

open access: yes, 2010
Information-theoretic security--widely accepted as the strictest notion of security--relies on channel coding techniques that exploit the inherent randomness of propagation channels to strengthen the security of communications systems.

Large‐Scale and Cost‐Effective Fabrication of Ultra‐Thin, Biodegradable Microelectrode Arrays and Pressure Sensors Using Laser Micromachining

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A mask‐free and cost‐effective UV‐pico‐second laser‐based microfabrication method is proposed to fabricate large‐area biodegradable microelectrode arrays and pressure sensors. These devices demonstrate low impedance, good conformability, excellent biocompatibility, and rapid degradation, providing a new route for next‐generation transient electronics ...

Transducers Across Scales and Frequencies: A System‐Level Framework for Multiphysics Integration and Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Secrecy Rate Maximizing Beamforming Schemes for the DF Relay Wiretap Channels

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
We consider beamforming schemes for the multi-antenna decode-and-forward (DF) relays that maximize the secrecy rate (SR) in the relay wiretap channel. Both full-duplex (FD) and half-duplex (HD) relays are considered, where the FD relay fights the loop ...
