Feasibility Study and Optimal Placement of Solar Power Plants Using Binary Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study introduces an integrated optimization framework using a binary genetic algorithm (BGA) for optimal siting and sizing of two solar plants (865 and 739 kWp) in Karaj, Iran. The BGA outperformed conventional methods, achieving a 24.3% reduction in power losses and enhanced voltage stability.

Design of HAWT Rotor for Non‐Uniform Inflow Conditions: A Theoretical and Experimental Approach for Shear Flow

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This paper aims to provide a robust design approach for HAWTs operating in shear flow. This study fills a critical research gap by integrating BEM and vortex theories for blade design in non‐homogeneous inflow conditions. The authors of the paper made an effort to develop and test an experimentally unsophisticated model of a turbine working in shear ...

Chemistry Composition and Bioaccessibility Study of Phenolic Compounds and Carotenoids of New Brazilian Biofortified Sweet Potato “CIP BRS Nuti”

open access: yesFood Chemistry International, EarlyView.
Phenolic compounds of sweet potato CIP BRS Nuti were evaluated for the first time. Catechin, epicatechin, and procyanidin B1 exhibited high bioaccessibility. ABSTRACT Sweet potatoes biofortified in carotenoids have been an alternative to combat malnutrition in vulnerable populations. This work is the first comprehensive study of the bioactive potential

Anti-hypoxia and anti-oxidation effects of aminophylline on human with acute high-altitude exposure.

open access: yesChinese medical sciences journal = Chung-kuo i hsueh k'o hsueh tsa chih, 2009
To investigate the anti-hypoxia and anti-oxidation effects of aminophylline on human with acute high-altitude exposure.Totally 100 young male army members newly recruited from Sichuan province (400 meters above sea level) were enrolled. They were randomly divided into two groups: 50 in aminophylline group (A group) and 50 in control group (C group).
