Machine Learning for Green Solvents: Assessment, Selection and Substitution
Environmental regulations have intensified demand for green solvents, but discovery is limited by Solvent Selection Guides (SSGs) that quantify solvent sustainability. Training a machine learning model on GlaxoSmithKline SSG, a database of sustainability metrics for 10,189 solvents, GreenSolventDB is developed. Integrated with Hansen solubility metrics,

THE EFFICIENT MARKETS HYPOTHESIS
Although something of a chameleon (Findlay and Williams, 2008), the efficient markets hypothesis (EMH) reduces to a claim that ‘you can’t beat the market’. In its weak form, it holds that past financial data are no guide to the future. In its stronger forms, it maintains that financial asset prices represent ‘fundamental value’, except to the extent ...

A direct test of the efficient marriage market hypothesis [PDF]
This paper takes Becker 's efficient marriage market hypothesis at face value, and directly confronts it with data from Hong Kong. The theory of optimal assignment is used to develop an empirical model of spouse selection, which resembles a Tobit model ...

CO spillover via the Cu‐Ag interface does not promote C‐C coupling. ABSTRACT Cu‐based bimetallic catalysts have been shown to improve the multi‐carbon (C2+) selectivity in CO2 electroreduction, with the assumption that CO spillover from the CO‐selective catalysts to adjacent Cu domains via their bimetallic interface promotes C–C coupling. Here, through

Three‐terminal (3T) perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells overcome the current‐matching constraints of 2T designs. Using an IBC POLO silicon bottom cell, we demonstrate a 30.1% PCE, with performance largely decoupled from perovskite bandgap and enhanced resilience under realistic, time‐dependent solar spectra.
