Temperature-dependent development of Habrobracon hebetor (Hym.: Braconidae) reared on larvae of Galleria mellonella (Lep.: Pyralidae) [PDF]
The development times and the survival rates of different stages of Habrobracon hebetor Say reared on the last instar larvae of Galleria mellonella (L.) were compared at ten different constant temperatures (16 - 38 ºC).

SYN‐A, a naturally derived synergist, inhibited key metabolic pathways associated with pyrethroid insecticide resistance in cabbage stem flea beetle (CSFB) and its parasitoid Microctonus brassicae. SYN‐A restored pyrethroid efficacy against resistant CSFB allowing up to 80% reduction in application rates.

Encapsulation and Self-Superparasitism of Pseudapanteles dignus (Muesebeck) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), a Parasitoid of Tuta absoluta (Meyrick) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae). [PDF]
Endoparasitoids can be killed by host encapsulation, a cellular-mediated host immunological response against parasitism that involves hemocytes aggregation.

Preference and performance of Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton (Lepidoptera:Gracillariidae) on three citrus hosts: Laboratory and field assessment [PDF]
The relationship between preference and performance is crucial to the ecology and evolution of plant-insect interactions. Oviposition preference and offspring performance were evaluated for a citrus pest, the leafminer Phyllocnistis citrella (Lepidoptera:

Colonization and spatiotemporal distribution of bruchid pests in lentil and faba bean fields
This study of 104 fields identifies Bruchus signaticornis in lentils and B. rufimanus in faba beans as the sole grain‐damaging species. Their uniform distribution within fields and the strong effect of regulatory factors on larvae and egg survival emphasize the need for species‐specific, phenology‐based and spatially informed integrated pest management

Inheritance of an oviposition behavior by an egg parasitoid [PDF]
A quantitative genetic study revealed genetic and environmental sources of variance in percentage parasitism of European corn borer egg masses and secondary sex ratios by Trichogramma nubilale. Full and half-sib groups of T. nubilale were obtained from a nested mating design, which permitted the partitioning of the variance of T. nubilale parasitism of
