Full Text Book of Minar Congress 6, 2022The research aims to study the spectra analysis of the elements present in local and imported eggshells. The study process is carried out using X-ray fluorescent (XRF) and spectral analysis of atomic emission for plasma by interaction of laser with eggshells the laser – induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) method is used for this purpose.

Microwave synthesis of wollastonite powder from eggshells
Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 2011Abstract Wollastonite powder was synthesized by microwave assisted solid-state reaction in a 2.45 GHz microwave furnace with a maximum power output of 2.4 kW. Bio-solid waste eggshell and SiO 2 were used as starting materials for the synthesis. α-Wollastonite formation started at 800 °C. The single phase was obtained after 10 min heating at 1100 °C.

Effects of eggshell powder addition on the extrusion behaviour of rice
Journal of Food Engineering, 2007The study was conducted to investigate the effects of eggshell powder on the extrusion behaviour and extrudate properties of rice in a co-rotating twin-screw extruder. A reduction in feed rate was observed with 1% eggshell powder added while feed rate increased as eggshell powder added up to 2% or more.
