ABSTRACT In 2019, the Dadan Archaeological Project (CNRS/RCU/AFALULA) identified a Late Antique village 1 km south of ancient Dadan in the al‐ʿUlā valley (northwest Saudi Arabia). Three excavation seasons at this site (2021–2023) have uncovered a massive building constructed in the late third or early fourth cent.

Breeding Dispersal of Baltic Dunlins Is Not an Adaptive Response to Unpredictable Nest Flooding
Flood‐related nest losses of the Baltic dunlin (Calidris alpina schinzii) have drastically increased over the past two decades. Using 20 years of reproductive data from 184 individuals, we found that between‐year and within‐site dispersal tended to increase following nest failure in males.

The Embryonic Development of the Cotylean Polyclad Phrikoceros jannetae
ABSTRACT Polyclads exhibit distinct developmental modes ranging from direct to indirect development, with several transitional stages also recognised. The existence of an indirect developmental mode in polyclads with a planktonic life history stage in the form of a free‐swimming larva is unique among all free‐living flatworms and makes polyclads a ...

EFFECT OF EGGSHELL CONDUCTANCE CONSTANT ON EMBRYONIC INTESTINE FUNCTION, HATCHING CHARACTERS AND SUBSEQUENT GROWTH FOR DEVELOPED CHICKENS AND ITS RELATION WITH 2- FLOCK AGE [PDF]
The present experiment was carried out for studying the effect of eggshell conductance constant (K) on embryonic intestinal function, hatching success, some physiological parameters and post-hatch growth for two flock ages (39-42 vs.

ABSTRACT In this study, the egg‐laying behaviour and chorionic morphology of the eggs of the backswimmer Notonecta viridis Delcourt, 1909 (Heteroptera: Notonectidae) were described in detail using stereo, light and electron microscopy. Female N. viridis lays its eggs individually, horizontally attached to the surface. Eggs are elliptical, approximately

EFFECT OF DIFFERENT CALCINATION TEMPERATURES ON SYNTHESIZED HYDROXYAPATITES FROM WASTE EGGSHELL
About 94% of waste eggshells are composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), which allows for the generation of calcium oxide (CaO), which can be utilized to synthesize hydroxyapatite (HAp). This study uses chemical precipitation and calcination methods to synthesize natural HAp from eggshell waste.

We describe methods for collecting and rearing the tachinid parasitoid Istocheta aldrichi from parasitized Japanese beetle adults. Hosts can be collected by hand and reared in the laboratory, or by using modified trap containers with added plant material and substrate to provide suitable conditions for I.

H2 Production by Dry Reforming of Methane over Ni Catalysts Supported on Waste Eggshell
The use of waste eggshell as a support material for nickel catalysts in the dry reforming of methane (DRM) aims to enhance hydrogen production while controlling catalyst deactivation caused by carbon deposition.
