Principal Components Analysis Relates Hippocampal Trisynaptic Circuit to Vividness of Visual Mental Imagery

Strong associations exist between vividness of conscious visual mental imagery and the trisynaptic circuit and, to a lesser extent, the parasubiculum. A large but previously‐unidentified subregion comprising 49% of the hippocampal formation has no association with the vividness of conscious visual mental imagery.
