Digital EHV Current Transducer
IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1981A digital electronic current transducer (ECT) has been developed under a project sponsored by The Electric Power Research Institute. The ECT features digital output, an optical fiber data transmission system, and a unique power supply located at high potential.

Overvoltages and Harmonics on EHV Systems
IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1972Steady-state overvoltages can occur on EHV transmission systems during various system operating conditions. The voltage waveforms are characterized by a periodic waveform which may be distorted by harmonics if iron saturation of equipment on the lines occurs.

Failure analysis of EHV transformers
IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 1988Failure activity of different samples of AEP extra high voltage (EHV) transformers is analyzed using estimations of the time-dependent failure rate. This analysis can be applied to investigation of the failure mechanism of 765 kV transformers. A novel method for the probabilistic estimation of the number of future failures is introduced.

EHV transmission in urban areas
1968 8th Electrical Insulation Conference, 1968Providing the most dependable electric service to the maximum number of users at the lowest possible cost has been, and continues to be, the primary goal of the electric utilities of this country. There was a time, in the earlier years of the industry, when the realization of each of these goals presented a real challenge.
