Data‐Efficient Electromagnetic Surrogate Solver Through Dissipative Relaxation Transfer Learning
Dissipative relaxation transfer learning (DIRTL) enables data‐efficient training of electromagnetic surrogate solvers by pretraining data generated with artificial material loss before fine‐tuning on target lossless data. The framework suppresses resonant outlier effects during early training, allowing effective adaptation to high‐amplitude resonances ...

Eigenfrequency maximisation by using irregular lattice structures [PDF]
Lightweight structures are susceptible to vibration due to their reduced mass. However, conventionally used techniques to avoid high vibration amplitudes (such as increasing the mass and/or applying damping mechanisms) are contradictory to the original ...

SOME CALCULUS RELATIONS FOR DETERMINING SOME OF THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF COMPOSITE SANDWICH BARS REINFORCED WITH METAL FABRIC [PDF]
In this paper, starting from some composite samples being in free vibration, I establish a way to determine the damping factor and the eigenfrequency for the first eigenmode.

This paper proposes a time-shifting boundary element method in the time domain to calculate the radiating pressures of an arbitrary object pulsating at eigenfrequencies of the interior (i.e., interior resonance frequencies).

This work addresses the Galerkin isogeometric discretization of the one-dimensional Laplace eigenvalue problem subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions on a bounded interval. We employ GLT theory to analyze the behavior of the eigenfrequencies when a reparametrization is applied to the computational domain. Under suitable assumptions on the

A nanoparticle‐cluster‐on‐mirror (NPcoM) serves as a functionally deterministic sub‐nanocavity that emulates picocavities, enabling extreme light–matter interactions and polaritonic phenomena. ABSTRACT Pushing nanoscale optical confinement to its ultimate limits defines the regime of nano‐cavity quantum electrodynamics (nano‐cQED), where light‐matter ...

Ramsey theory constitutes the dynamics of mechanical systems, which may be described as abstract complete graphs. We address a mechanical system which is completely interconnected by two kinds of ideal Hookean springs.

A nano‐plasma device enables watt‐level on‐chip THz generation through picosecond switching triggered by secondary electron emission avalanche. An ultra‐dense electron sheet initiates nano‐plasma formation within a ∼100 nm gap, driving rapid energy release into an integrated resonator.

EIGENFREQUENCIES AND EXPANSIONS FOR DAMPED WAVE EQUATIONS [PDF]
We study eigenfrequencies and propagator expansions for damped wave equations on compact manifolds. Under the assumption of geometric control, the propagator is shown to admit an expansion in terms of finitely many eigenmodes near the real axis, with an error term exponentially decaying in time.
