Entropic Repulsion and Local Order in Doubly Tethered Polymers on a Surface

open access: yesMacromolecular Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
The study examines the behavior of mobile doubly tethered polymers on a 2D substrate. It analyzes conformational properties and end‐monomer ordering, considering the director between end‐monomers for local ordering. As tethering density increases, a transition from mushroom‐like to upright structures is observed.

Diffusion along Perivascular Spaces as a Marker for Glymphatic System Impairment in Huntington's Disease

open access: yesMovement Disorders, EarlyView.
Abstract Background The aim was to investigate if glymphatic function is impaired in patients with Huntington's disease (HD) and its clinical relevance. Methods Forty‐nine subjects carrying mutant Huntingtin (mHTT), comprising 35 manifest (mHD) and 14 pre‐manifest (PreHD), and 35 healthy controls (HC) were recruited in this study.

Estimates of Solutions for Integro‐Differential Equations in Epidemiological Modeling

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Integro‐differential equations (IDE) have been applied in a variety of areas of research, including epidemiology. Recently, IDE systems were applied to study dengue fever transmission dynamics at the population level. In this study, we extend the approach presented in a previous study for describing the epidemiological model of dengue fever ...

Robust transmission design for artificial noise aided multiuser broadcast system in inaccurate channel state information scenario with users of different importance

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 17, Issue 2, Page 171-182, January 2023., 2023
Abstract In this article, robust beamforming (BF) and artificial noise (AN) design method is proposed for multiuser broadcast secure transmission under secrecy outage probability (SOP) constraints. A special scenario is assumed that the transmitter cannot obtain the accurate channel state information (CSI) of the users' channel, and different users ...

Interpretation of inhomogeneous magnetization transfer in myelin water using a four‐pool model with dipolar reservoirs

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose To confirm ihMT's specificity to myelin, an ihMT presaturation module was combined with a Poon–Henkelman multi‐echo spin‐echo readout to separate the ihMT signal in myelin water from intra‐/extra‐cellular water. This study explored the relationship between two quantitative myelin imaging techniques and measured the ihMT signal of ...

Graph convolutional reinforcement learning for resource allocation in hybrid overlay–underlay cognitive radio network with network slicing

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 17, Issue 2, Page 215-227, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Nowadays, wireless communication system is facing the problems of spectrum resource shortage. Cognitive radio technology allows cognitive users to use the spectrums authorized to primary users to improve the spectrum utilization. In this paper, a cognitive network model based on hybrid overlay–underlay spectrum access mode is established.
