Singular and non-singular eigenvectors for the Gaudin model [PDF]

open access: yesJ.Math.Phys. 42 (2001) 3497, 2002
We present a method to construct a basis of singular and non-singular common eigenvectors for Gaudin Hamiltonians in a tensor product module of the Lie algebra SL(2). The subset of singular vectors is completely described by analogy with covariant differential operators. The relation between singular eigenvectors and the Bethe Ansatz is discussed.

Topology‐Optimized Bound States in the Continuum with High‐Q Acoustic Field Enhancement

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a topology optimization method for acoustic metamaterials, achieving high‐Q resonances by redesigning a single unit cell within a periodic array. The design enables precise pressure confinement and energy trapping, validated through experiments.

Similarities of discrete and continuous Sturm-Liouville problems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2007
In this paper we present a study on the analogous properties of discrete and continuous Sturm-Liouville problems arising in matrix analysis and differential equations, respectively.

Static quark-antiquark potential and Dirac eigenvector correlators [PDF]

open access: yesJHEP 0805:030,2008, 2008
We represent the Polyakov loop correlator as a spectral sum of correlators of eigenvectors of the lattice Dirac operator. This spectral representation is studied numerically using quenched SU(3) configurations below and above the deconfinement temperature.

Origins, Dispersal, and Impact: Bidirectional Introgression Between Chinese and European Pig Populations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates bidirectional introgression between Chinese and European pig populations, revealing 3558 introgressed genomic segments and 30 structural variations. Analysis of the BMP2 region suggests its role in body size enhancement. By integrating ancient and modern genomes, the study highlights the impact of introgression on genetic ...

Measuring brain beats: Cardiac‐aligned fast functional magnetic resonance imaging signals

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 44, Issue 1, Page 280-294, January 2023., 2023
Blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pulse and flow throughout the brain, driven by the cardiac cycle. We use rapid functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) measurements to assess blood and CSF flow dynamics in a conventional 3 T magnetic resonance imaging scanner.

Mine exogenous fire monitoring method using the fusion of infrared visual features

open access: yes矿业科学学报
In order to solve the problems of high false positive and false negative rates of external fire monitoring in complex mine environments, a monitoring algorithm using infrared visual feature fusion was proposed.

A Note on Surgical Eigenstructure Assignment via State Feedback [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
Assignability of all eigenvalues and a subset of key eigenvectors/generalized eigenvectors of a linear time-invariant system via state feedback is considered. We clarify that, if the key eigenvectors/generalized eigenvectors and their associated eigenvalues satisfy the classical conditions for full eigenstructure assignment, the remaining eigenvalues ...

Tunable Polariton Rabi Oscillation in Phase‐Changing Perovskite Microcavities

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work demonstrated the tunable Rabi oscillation of exciton‐polaritons in MAPbBr3 perovskites due to the emergence of ferroelectricity during the crystallographic phase transition. Both the Rabi oscillation and exciton oscillator strength exhibit an unusual temperature dependence that is related to the emergence of ferroelectricity in the tetragonal
