Identification of random coefficient latent utility models

open access: yesQuantitative Economics, Volume 16, Issue 4, Page 1223-1265, November 2025.
This paper provides nonparametric identification results for random coefficient distributions in perturbed utility models. We cover discrete choice and models of multiple purchases. We establish identification using variation in mean quantities. The results apply even when an analyst observes only aggregate demands but not whether goods are chosen ...

Unified gross substitutes and inverse isotonicity for equilibrium problems

open access: yesTheoretical Economics, Volume 20, Issue 3, Page 941-971, July 2025.
We introduce a notion of substitutability for correspondences and establish a monotone comparative static result. More precisely, we introduce the notions of unified gross substitutes and nonreversingness and show that if Q:P⇉Q is a supply correspondence defined on a set of prices P, which is a sublattice of RN, and Q satisfies these two properties ...

Multiple homoclinic solutions for a class of nonhomogeneous Hamiltonian systems

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2018
By introducing a new superquadratic condition, we obtain the existence of two nontrivial homoclinic solutions for a class of perturbed second order Hamiltonian systems which are obtained by the mountain pass theorem and Ekeland’s variational principle.

Pontryagin´s principle for state-constrained boundary control problems of semilinear parabolic equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
This paper deals with state-constrained optimal control problems governed by semilinear parabolic equations. We establish a minimum principle of Pontryagin's type.

The impact of bureaucracy and managerialism on relationship‐based practise: A mixed methods study of frontline social work in Northern Ireland

open access: yesSocial Policy &Administration, Volume 59, Issue 3, Page 438-453, May 2025.
Abstract Combining quantitative data from a national survey (n = 252) with qualitative interviews with frontline social workers (n = 16), this manuscript examines the ways in which bureaucracy and managerialism has impacted social work in Northern Ireland, with specific attention to relationship‐based practise.

The Future of Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health Nursing Practice: An Integrative Review

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mental Health Nursing, Volume 34, Issue 1, February 2025.
ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) has been increasingly used in delivering mental healthcare worldwide. Within this context, the traditional role of mental health nurses has been changed and challenged by AI‐powered cutting‐edge technologies emerging in clinical practice. The aim of this integrative review is to identify and synthesise the evidence

Existence and multiplicity of solutions for a class of ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -Kirchhoff system with combined nonlinearities on graphs

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
By using the well-known mountain-pass theorem and Ekeland’s variational principle, we prove that there exist at least two fully nontrivial solutions for a ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -Kirchhoff elliptic system with the Dirichlet boundary conditions and ...

A theoretical constructivisation of mathematical economics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
This thesis deals with some problems in mathematical economics, looked at constructively; that is, with intuitionistic logic. In particular, we look at the connection between approximate Pareto optima and approximate equilibria.
