Elaeocarpus aristatus (Elaeocarpaceae): New for southern India
Species of Elaeocarpus L. (Elaeocarpaceae Juss.) are characteristically trees or shrubs distributed from Madagascar in the west to Fiji and Hawaii in the east; of the some 350 recognized species, the greatest concentration of species is found in Borneo and New Guinea.

A revision of Sericolea Schlechter (Elaeocarpaceae)
Sericolea is a genus endemic to New Guinea. The relevant literature is surveyed. Descriptions are given of all species and keys provided to the 15 species and all infraspecific taxa accepted. Two species are described as new: S. coodei and S. microphylla. A new subspecies of S. brassii A. C. Sm. is recognized: ssp. carrii. S.
