Rigid–Elastic Coupling Dynamics of Morphing Wing Aircraft [PDF]
This paper presents a rigid–elastic coupling dynamic model for a morphing aircraft with variable-sweep wings, developed using Kane’s method. The model accurately captures the interactions between flight dynamics and structural dynamics during

Elastic coupling in polymer stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystals [PDF]
The elastic coupling between a polymer network and liquid crystal has been studied in both the SmA* and SmC* phases of a polymer stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystal polymerized in the SmA * phase.

Additive Manufacturing of Alumina‐Reinforced Elastomers
Vat‐photopolymerized elastomers reinforced with platelet‐shaped alumina exhibited preferential orientation, reduced porosity, and significantly enhanced mechanical performance. A 3 wt% platelet loading increased tensile strength from 12.4 to 45.7 MPa, highlighting the critical role of filler morphology in elastomeric VPP composites.

Different Al/Al bimetals with a single engineered interface reveal how mechanical mismatch governs fatigue crack growth under cyclic loading. Additionally, loading–unloading–reloading tests link the microyielding behavior to the fatigue crack growth resistance, while crack‐path analysis reveals toughening mechanisms at the interface, highlighting ...

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...
