Multicast service protection algorithm based on elastic optical network
With the rapid growth of the network traffic, the elastic optical network (EON) has been proposed as a promising solution due to its high spectrum efficiency and flexible bandwidth provision.Meanwhile, multicast routing and spectrum allocation, and the ...

Optimizing the spectrum allocation in elastic optical networks

A hexagonal tunnel‐structured MoO3 is nanoparticulated via hydrothermal synthesis followed by ball‐milling. As a positive electrode in Ca and Mg batteries, it delivers superior capacity and structural reversibility, enabling divalent cation intercalation with minimal lattice distortion and no phase transitions.

Efficient spectrum assignment in elastic optical networks
The Elastic Optical Network (EON) architecture has been proposed in response to the large capacity and diverse traffic granularity needs of the future Internet. By breaking the fixed-grid spectrum allocation of WDM networks, EONs increase the flexibility

Foreign labor, peer‐networking and agricultural efficiency in the Italian dairy sector
Abstract While the presence of immigrants in the agricultural sector is widely acknowledged, the empirical evidence on its economic consequences is lacking, especially from a microeconomic perspective. Using the Farm Accountancy Data Network panel data for Italian dairy farms in the period 2008–2018, the present study investigates the relationship ...

Food Prices and Inflation Expectations in New Zealand
ABSTRACT Food prices are conspicuous, and spending on food constitutes a considerable share of household expenditure. In this study, we use partially identified Bayesian structural vector autoregression models to analyze the effects of food price shocks on core inflation and 1‐ and 5‐year inflation expectations in New Zealand.

Multi-Link Fragmentation-Aware Deep Reinforcement Learning RSA Algorithm in Elastic Optical Network
Deep reinforcement learning has been extensively applied for resource allocation in elastic optical networks. However, many studies focus on link-level state analysis and rarely discuss the influence between links, which may affect the performance of ...

Robot‐Assisted Measurement of the Critical Micelle Concentration
The study introduces (SIMO) smart integrator for manual operations, a robotic platform for precise, repeatable determination of (CMC) critical micelle concentration in surfactants. SIMO reduces standard deviation by 80% compared to manual methods. Surfactant, dye, and diluent selection, robotic protocols, and data handling are detailed.
