Temperature dependences of electric properties of tetramethylammonium mono- and pentaiodide [PDF]
The dielectric properties of tetramethylammonium monoiodide and pentaiodide were investigated in broad temperature range (−150∘C till +50∘C). It was demonstrated that the structural organization of the polyiodide chain containing I…I charge-assisted ...

Electrically Conducting Polymers
Plastics have long been used as insulators throughout the electronics industry, but recently new classes of polymers have been discovered that have appreciable electronic conductivities. The best of these to date has a conductivity only a single order of magnitude below that of copper, while a surprising range of other polymers have conductivities just

Transient receptor potential melastatin‐4 (TRPM4) is overexpressed in prostate cancer (PCa). Knockout of TRPM4 resulted in reduced PCa tumor spheroid size and decreased PCa tumor spheroid outgrowth. In addition, lack of TRPM4 increased cell death in PCa tumor spheroids.

Non-linear conductivity and quantum interference in disordered metals
We report on a novel non-linear electric field effect in the conductivity of disordered conductors. We find that an electric field gives rise to dephasing in the particle-hole channel, which depresses the interference effects due to disorder and ...

Resummation for the field-theoretical derivation of the negative magnetoresistance
We show detailed derivation of the electric conductivity of quark matter at finite temperature and density under a magnetic field. We especially focus on the longitudinal electric conductivity along the magnetic direction and establish the field ...

Simulation of Permittivity and Conductivity Graded Materials for HVDC GIL for Different Voltage Forms [PDF]
Functionally graded materials (FGM) are applied in HVDC gas insulated lines (GIL) to control the electric field within the DC insulation system. In HVDC GIL, FGM with a spatial distribution of the electric conductivity (conductivity-FGM) is applied to control the electric field under DC steady state condition.

FOXL2 c.402C>G mutation drives granulosa cell tumors. Using CRISPR technology, we selectively corrected this mutation, reducing malignancy and increasing sensitivity to dasatinib and ketoconazole. Transcriptomic changes revealed potential therapeutic targets, demonstrating CRISPR's promise for treating this rare ovarian cancer.

Dyadic Green's Functions and Guided Surface Waves for a Surface Conductivity Model of Graphene
An exact solution is obtained for the electromagnetic field due to an electric current in the presence of a surface conductivity model of graphene. The graphene is represented by an infinitesimally-thin, local and isotropic two-sided conductivity surface.

In this paper we study the electric conductivity of continuous media in the contest of the non-equilibrium thermodynamics with internal variables. Namely, we shall use some recent results that allow to infer conductivity as function of the frequency of ...
