Electroversion in treatment of arrhythmia in a patient with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome and cervical spinal cord injury

open access: yesChinese Journal of Traumatology, 2013
【Abstract】We report electroversion in treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF) and atrioventricular nodal reentry ta-chycardia (AVNRT) in a patient with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome and cervical spinal cord injury.

Structural and magnetic response of CrI3 monolayer to electric field [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
A recent theoretical study reported large effects of perpendicular electric fields on the atomic structure of a monolayer CrI3, which could be related to the microscopic origin of the technologically promising and experimentally observed electrical switching of magnetization in bilayer CrI3.

Electricity Price Forecasting Model based on Gated Recurrent Units [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
The participation of consumers and producers in demand response programs has increased in smart grids, which reduces investment and operation costs of power systems. Also, with the advent of renewable energy sources, the electricity market is becoming more complex and unpredictable.

City electric power consumption forecasting based on big data & neural network under smart grid background [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
With the development of the electric power system, the smart grid has become an important part of the smart city. The rational transmission of electric energy and the guarantee of power supply of the smart grid are very important to smart cities, smart cities can provide better services through smart grids.

Minimising the expectation value of the procurement cost in electricity markets based on the prediction error of energy consumption [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we formulate a method for minimising the expectation value of the procurement cost of electricity in two popular spot markets: {\it day-ahead} and {\it intra-day}, under the assumption that expectation value of unit prices and the distributions of prediction errors for the electricity demand traded in two markets are known.

Use of a Tunneling Technique to Achieve a Lower Defibrillation Threshold during Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Implantation via the Right Subclavian Vein [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A 56-yr-old man with aborted sudden cardiac death underwent implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantation. While the ICD was being implanted, a left subclavian venogram failed to visualize the left subclavian vein, which was attributed to ...

A Study of the Usefulness and Limitations of Electrical Countershock, Cardiac Massage, Epinephrine and Procaine in Cardiac Resuscitation from Ventricular Fibrillation [PDF]

open access: yesCirculation, 1953
The efficacy of electrical countershock, cardiac massage, epinephrine and procaine in stopping ventricular fibrillation and restoring a competent ventricular contraction was studied in anesthetized dogs. It was found that countershock is a reliable means of stopping fibrillation.
