Electrically controlled pumping of spin currents in topological insulators [PDF]
Pure spin currents are shown to be generated by an electrically controlled quantum pump applied at the edges of a topological insulator. The electric rather than the more conventional magnetic control offers several advantages and avoids, in particular, the necessity of delicate control of magnetization dynamics over tiny regions.

Controlling the Interlayer Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya Interaction by Electrical Currents
The recently discovered interlayer Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (IL-DMI) in multilayers with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy favors canting of spins in the in-plane direction. It could thus stabilize intriguing spin textures such as Hopfions. A key requirement for nucleation is to control the IL-DMI. Therefore, we investigate the influence of an

An electrically controlled quantum dot based spin current injector [PDF]
We present a proposal for a fully electrically controllable quantum dot based spin current injector. The device consists of a quantum dot that is strongly coupled to a ferromagnetic electrode on one side and weakly coupled to a nonmagnetic electrode on the other side.

Discrete‐time modelling and stability analysis of wireless power transfer system
Wireless power transfer (WPT) has been widely used in recent years due to its convenient access to power and security in some specific cases. However, the inherent non‐linearity of the WPT system can result in unexpected stability problems. In this paper,
