Efficiency Gains in Electrical Drive Systems
1997The environmental impact of the electricity generation is quite high because 70% of the primary energy used for electricity generation is based on fossile fuels. Another reason for this environmental impact is the poor overall efficiency of the electric supply if calculated from the primary energy to the useful work performed by an electric motor.

PHIL-system for electric drives application
2016 IX International Conference on Power Drives Systems (ICPDS), 2016Power hardware in the loop (PHIL) system for electric drives application based on power converter with Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA )control system which realizes in real time model of converter, motor and mechanism is discussed. PHIL-system is intended for converters testing and for their operating modes studying.
