Grouping the distributions of electric field amplitudes
2003 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2003. EMC '03., 2003A heuristic data-analysis method is introduced and applied to group electric field amplitude distributions into distinct groups according to their shape. The amplitudes are determined inside rectangular enclosures consisting of apertures, when the enclosures are illuminated by an external electric field.

DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRIC FIELDS ON THE SURFACE OF INCLUSIONS IN MATRIX COMPOSITE
Доклады Российской академии наук. Физика, технические науки, 2023Expressions are obtained for operators of concentration of electric field strength and displacement on the surface of inclusions in matrix composite depending on shape and volume fraction of inclusions in material. These operators relate the fields on the inclusion surface on the matrix side with the average values of the electric field strength and ...

Electric-field distribution in composite media
Physical Review B, 1998Spatial fluctuations of the local electric field induced by a constant applied electric field in composite media are studied analytically and numerically. It is found that the density of states for the fields exhibit sharp peaks and abrupt changes in the slope at certain critical points which are analogous to van Hove singularities in the density of ...

On the distribution of electric fields in the magnetosphere
Journal of Geophysical Research, 1966The magnetic storm theories of Alfven, Axford and Hines, and Dungey imply that an electrostatic potential difference exists across the magnetosphere. The detailed distribution of the resulting electric fields is, as yet, unknown. The present study is an attempt to solve this problem, assuming that a plasma with continuous energy spectrum is injected ...

Electric field distribution in brain tumors
2014 IEEE Conference on Electrical Insulation and Dielectric Phenomena (CEIDP), 2014About 37% of the brain tumors are malignant, causing brain cancers. Brain tumor stands as the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in children and adults. Current standard of cure includes surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Brain surgery is too complex and involves more risks in treatment.

Electrical field distribution in transformer oil
IEEE Transactions on Electrical Insulation, 1992Developments in Kerr electro-optic measurement technology at the laboratory have made possible high resolution electric field measurements in nonpolar liquids. The electric field distribution in transformer oil has been studied at service stress levels in both the transient and steady state.

Electric field distribution on knife-edge field emitters
Applied Physics Letters, 2007Conformal mapping is used to calculate the electric field on a knife-edge cathode, modeled as a rectangular ridge on a flat surface. It is found that the field enhancement factor scales approximately as the square root of the height-to-width ratio of the knife edge.

Electric field distribution in aluminum in strong magnetic fields
Soviet Journal of Low Temperature Physics, 1978An anomalous electric field distribution was found in high purity aluminum under strong magnetic fields, produced by transverse displacement of current lines due to longitudinal inhomogeneity in H. The admissable inhomogeneity with use of the four-electrode method is determined by the effective magnetic field, with increase in which the requirement for

Electric field distributions in neuronal membranes
Mathematical Biosciences, 1975Abstract The “instantaneous” current-voltage relationship of a neuronal membrane is examined in the light of the Planckian and Goldmanian limits of the membrane's electric field distribution and a detailed model of facilitated ionic transport through the membrane.

Improving Electric Field Distribution in a Microwave Heating Device
Journal of Microwave Power and Electromagnetic Energy, 2000The authors describe a microwave reheater for food products in which two magnetrons and a magic tee are used for decoupling the waves emitted and for obtaining good impedance matching. Symmetric and asymmetric parts of the electric field pattern can be separately adjusted and optimized for best results.
