Magnetic and electric fields of rotating charge distributions

American Journal of Physics, 1982
A charge distribution with axial symmetry is allowed to rotate with constant angular velocity around the axis of symmetry. The magnetic field of the resultant current density is calculated in terms of the electrostatic field of the charge distribution.

Simulation on electrical field distribution of dielectrophoresis for carbon nanotube

2012 IEEE 11th International Conference on Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing, 2012
The electrode shapes are very important for aligning nanotubes with AC electrophosresis techniques. This paper builds the model for the CNT dielectrophoresis and making a theoretical analysis of electrical field distribution by numerical simulation technology.

Field ionization distribution curves and the local electric field

Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 1992
Ionization probabilities of imaging gas molecules under field ion microscope conditions are calculated and compared with previous calculated and experimental results. It is shown that it is necessary to include the possibility of ionization before reaching the region close to the sample in the calculation of the curves rather than just considering the ...

Electric Field Distribution in a Dense Plasma

The Physics of Fluids, 1960
A calculation is presented of the probability distribution function of the electric field at the center of an ion or atom in a plasma in the high ion density limit. In this limit, it is possible to take into account rigorously the effect of the Coulomb interactions on the distribution function.

Spatial distribution of the electric field for field emission microtriodes

Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology B: Microelectronics and Nanometer Structures Processing, Measurement, and Phenomena, 1996
The spatial distribution of the electric field on the emitter is studied for field emission microtriodes (FEMTs). An analytical three-dimensional FEMT model is used to show that the electric field on the emitter as a function of the angular position E(φ) can be written as a sum of an anode field term Ea(φ) and a gate field term Eg(φ).

Electric field distribution in glass and porcelain pin insulators

2015 IEEE 15th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering (EEEIC), 2015
Distribution grid reliability depends heavily on insulation coordination of medium voltage overhead lines (OHL). Adequate knowledge of OHL insulators is needed to improve distribution grid performance. This paper discusses the distribution of electrical fields in 24 kV pin-type porcelain and glass insulators.

A delta-distribution derivation of the electric field in the source region

1981 Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 1982
ABSTRACT The sequential approach to distribution theory is used to rigorously derive the expression, which remains valid in the source region, for electric field in terms of the electric dyadic Green's function. Sufficient conditions for the behavior of the current density that insure that the electric field obeys Maxwell's equations are determined ...
