Thermoreflectance Detection of Point Defects Resulting from Focused Ion Beam Milling
Focused ion beam (FIB) milling is a common tool for nanoscale material processing, however irradiation damage, redeposition, and contamination can occur. We use several characterization tools to show FIB‐induced effects beyond 1 mm from the milled area.

Persebaran Medan Listrik akibat Proses Exothermic Welding pada Kabel Tegangan Menengah 20 kV
In the 20 kV distribution system, insulated cables and conductors of fibrous and solid copper are used. Some problems on 20 kV system occur due to the line length of the lines. This obstacle occurs in the cable, mostly at the cable connection.

This study presents a reversible temperature sensor with high switching ratio, ∼103. The device is fabricated using PET‐ITO and carbon nanotube dispersions in alkane. Considering its application in cold chain logistics, a proof‐of‐concept with LED is showcased. Thus, a temperature drop below the threshold temperature (crystallization temperature of the

The Distribution of Electrons in a Uniform Electric Field [PDF]
Experiments are under way at the University of New England to measure the optical absorption of excited gas particles in a pre-breakdown discharge. Such measurements can be used to deduce the number density of electrons in the discharge. By comparing this experimental density map with the predictions of theory, electron transport parameters may be ...

Harnessing Fungal Biowelding for Constructing Mycelium‐Engineered Materials
Mycelium‐bound composites (MBCs) offer low‐carbon alternatives for construction, yet interfacial bonding remains a critical challenge. This review examines fungal biowelding as a biocompatible adhesive, elucidating mycelium‐mediated interfacial mechanisms and their role in material assembly. Strategies to optimize biowelding are discussed, highlighting

Modeling of electric field distribution in tissues during electroporation [PDF]
Abstract Background Electroporation based therapies and treatments (e.g. electrochemotherapy, gene electrotransfer for gene therapy and DNA vaccination, tissue ablation with irreversible electroporation and transdermal drug delivery) require a precise prediction of the therapy or treatment outcome by a personalized ...

It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...
