Electrical Impedance of Isolated Amnion
The electrical impedance of the guinea pig amniotic membrane was measured, under standardized conditions, over the frequency range of 20 to 7000 cycles/second. This impedance can be represented analytically by a simple frequency-dependent function which is precisely of the form of the Debye relaxation equation.

Stability Analysis and Control Design for Hybrid AC-DC More-Electric Aircraft Power Systems [PDF]
This thesis studies the stability of a more-electric aircraft (MEA) power system with hybrid converters and loads, and proposes a control design method using state feedback.

Discrete Geometric Homogenisation and Inverse Homogenisation of an Elliptic Operator [PDF]
We show how to parameterise a homogenised conductivity in R² by a scalar function s(x), despite the fact that the conductivity parameter in the related up-scaled elliptic operator is typically tensor valued.

Three-dimensional electrical impedance tomography [PDF]
The electrical resistivity of mammalian tissues varies widely and is correlated with physiological function. Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) can be used to probe such variations in vivo, and offers a non-invasive means of imaging the internal conductivity distribution of the human body. But the computational complexity of EIT has severe practical

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...
