Modelling and certification for electric mobility
2017 IEEE 15th International Conference on Industrial Informatics (INDIN), 2017The EnergyBus specification is the basis of an ongoing joint IEC/ISO standardisation effort focussing on public charging infrastructures for and interoperability of light electric vehicle components. This paper highlights how these efforts are supported by formal methods, starting at the design and specification level, up to establishing a ...

Establishing an Electric Mobility Ecosystem
2018 IEEE International Conference on Engineering, Technology and Innovation (ICE/ITMC), 2018This paper sketches the idea, execution and results of a project to establish an electric mobility ecosystem in the southern German Bundesland of Baden-Wurttemberg. The project was conducted by a team of different organizations comprising participants/companies which offer services necessary for the use of electric mobility.

Impacts of Electric Mobility on the Electric Grid
2014Electric mobility is becoming an option for reducing greenhouse gas emissions of road transport and decreasing the external dependence on fossil fuels. However, this new kind of mobility will introduce additional loads to the power system, and it is important to determine its effects on it.

The electric mobility business ecosystem
2014 Ninth International Conference on Ecological Vehicles and Renewable Energies (EVER), 2014The electric mobility business ecosystem (EMBE) is a typical innovation ecosystem. Participating companies can succeed only through (disruptive) innovation, and only through entering industrial fields which are either new as such or new to the participants.

Evaluation of electric mobility authentication approaches
Computer Science in Cars Symposium, 2021For the public charging of Electric Vehicles (EVs), ISO 15118 specifies the Plug and Charge (PnC) approach. Unfortunately, PnC requires a quite complex Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and completely lacks privacy-preserving measures. This work shows that other approaches from the literature and a novel introduced approach outperform PnC.

The influence of an electric field on the mobility in semiconductors
physica status solidi (b), 1986AbstractAnalytical expressions for the electric field dependence of the mobility μ and the mean drift velocity (〈vD〉) are derived in stationary equilibrium taking into account acoustical phonon, nonpolar optical phonon, and polar optical phonon scattering.
