Liver toxicity and repair evaluated by histopathology and electric modulus. [PDF]

open access: yesToxicol Res (Camb)
Abstract Detoxification is one of the most important liver functions. Therefore, liver is the front line of defense when the biosystem faces drug overdose, toxins, and anything that may cause harm. Some famous antibiotics are known for their side effects on liver; one of them is amoxicillin, AM.

Detecting Traces of 17α-Ethinylestradiol in Complex Water Matrices

open access: yesSensors, 2020
Hormones have a harmful impact on the environment and their detection in water bodies is an urgent matter. In this work, we present and analyze a sensor device able to detect traces of the synthetic hormone 17α-ethinylestradiol (EE2) below 10−9 M in ...

Electric Modulus Analysis of (1 − x) PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3-(x)K1/2Bi1/2TiO3 Ceramics

open access: yesAdvances in Condensed Matter Physics, 2022
Ferroelectrics refer to groups of dielectrics having the property of spontaneous polarization. Lead magnesium niobate-potassium bismuth titanate ((1 − x) PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3-(x)K1/2Bi1/2TiO3)) x = 0.15, 0.25, and 0.35 are prepared by solid-state reaction rout

Electric Modulus and Scaling of Chitosan/PVA Biopolymer Blend [PDF]

open access: yesEgyptian Journal of Chemistry, 2021
Dielectric measurements of chitosan/PVA polymer blends were performed at various temperatures in a wide frequency range. Higher values of / and // at higher temperatures and lower frequencies are correlated to interfacial polarization (IP) and DC conduction, respectively.

Dielectric permittivity and electric modulus in Bi2Ti4O11

open access: yesThe Journal of Chemical Physics, 2003
Frequency and temperature dependences of dielectric permittivity and electric modulus of pure and Ba-doped Bi2Ti4O11 were studied in the ranges of 10−1–106 Hz and −150–350 °C, respectively. We found that the antiferroelectric phase transition temperature of Bi2Ti4O11 decreases with Ba doping.
