Energy Focusing Metasurface Based Wireless Power Transfer System for Compact Unmanned Mobilities

A miniaturized wireless power transfer system integrates a metasurface lens, microstrip patch antenna, and RF‐CMOS rectifier to enhance mmWave reception efficiency and reduce size. Leveraging mmWave short wavelengths, it achieves high gain on small platforms. The system's polarization independence and wide‐angle reception ensure robust performance.

Topology Optimization Enables Freeform Matrix Fourier Optics

A topology‐optimized freeform metasurface is designed and fabricated to realize matrix Fourier optics, enabling the diffraction of multiple polarization states into distinct far‐field orders. By combining forward design with gradient‐based inverse optimization, high polarization contrast of up to 98.7% is achieved.

Design of Double‐Sided Optical Coatings for Space Cooling Through Vertical Windows

Dual‐sided radiative cooling glass (DSRCG) utilizes the optical properties of epsilon‐near‐zero materials and ITO to exhibit directional emission toward the outdoor space, facilitating the heat dissipation of the glass, while exhibiting low emission toward the enclosure.
