Summary In this contribution, we propose a detailed study of interpolation‐based data‐driven methods that are of relevance in the model reduction and also in the systems and control communities. The data are given by samples of the transfer function of the underlying (unknown) model, that is, we analyze frequency‐response data.

Electrically driven robust tuning of lattice thermal conductivity [PDF]
Two-dimensional (2D) materials represented by graphene stand out in future electrical industry and have been widely studied. As a commonly existing factor in electronic devices, the electric field has been extensively utilized to modulate the performance. However, how the electric field regulates thermal transport is rarely studied.

ChemInform Abstract: Electrical Conductivity in Hexaalkoxytriphenylenes. [PDF]
AbstractTriphenylenes containing six side‐chains O(CH2)nCH3, n 3‐5, have been prepared and doped with iodine. The compounds show mesophases which have been characterised by differential‐scanning calorimetry and small‐angle X‐ray scattering. Samples doped with iodine show an electrical conductivity of 10−4‐10−3Ω−1·m−1, which is slightly higher in the ...

Charge screening and carrier transport in AA-stacked bilayer graphene: tuning via a perpendicular electric field [PDF]
The static dielectric function in AA-stacked bilayer graphene (BLG), subjected to an electric field applied perpendicular to layers, is calculated analytically within the random phase approximation (RPA). This result is used to calculate the screened Coulomb interaction and the electrical conductivity.

Variation in Reported Human Head Tissue Electrical Conductivity Values
Electromagnetic source characterisation requires accurate volume conductor models representing head geometry and the electrical conductivity field. Head tissue conductivity is often assumed from previous literature, however, despite extensive research ...

Creep Characterization of Inconel 718 Lattice Metamaterials Manufactured by Laser Powder Bed Fusion
Herein, the creep characteristics of additively manufactured Inconel 718 metamaterials are investigated. The creep behavior of metamaterials and the effects of microstructural defects are assessed, and the microstructure defects are accurately captured using Kachanov's creep damage model.
