The Shape of Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is altered in Stroke Patients
The 26th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2005The shape of the Power Spectral Density Function (PSD) of the Electrical Field Distribution exhibit abnormalities in the brain structure when comparing chronic stroke patients with healthy volunteers. We built a System that can deliver White Noise currents in the 0-25kHz band to any electrode pair.

Barium titanate has been doped with rare earth oxides (erbium, holmium, gadolinium and yttrium), in an attempt to understand the effect upon the reliability of the dielectric material for multilayer capacitor applications. The morphology of the samples used was characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Abstract Some inconsistencies were found in the literature on the effect of surfactant type on membrane fouling by surfactant-stabilized oil emulsions. For instance, a recent study showed that the fouling trends revealed by optical coherence tomography (OCT) were incongruent with the flux decline trends.

This paper presents the dielectric behaviour of suspensions of tomato cells (MSK8) and tobacco cells (BY2) in Murashige and Skoog, and Phosphate Buffer solutions. The behaviour of various concentrations of such suspensions is studied over a wide range of frequencies (1 kHz to 20 GHz).
