Electrical-pumping spasing action from cross-stacked microwires
Journal of Materials Chemistry C, 2019Electrically pumped spasing action was achieved on account of a single ZnO:Ga microwire crossed with an AuNPs@ZnO:Ga microwire. The dominant emission wavelengths are centered at 550 nm, accompanied by the spectral linewidth narrowing to 2 nm.

Pumping Wells with Electrical Submergible Pumps
Journal of Petroleum Technology, 1963Abstract This paper reviews the components of electrical submergible pumps with respect to field proven designs which have provided wider application in recent years. Installation procedure is described briefly to point out precautions necessary to obtain long service runs. Performance data for several oil and water

Toward an electrically pumped spaser
Optics Letters, 2012The use of surface plasmon polariton (SPP)-based waveguides can significantly reduce the size of optical interconnects, but the propagation length of SPPs is limited by Joule heating losses and does not exceed a few micrometers. In this paper, we present an SPP amplification scheme that utilizes compact electrical pumping and gives a possibility for ...
