Thermal conductivity and electrical transport properties of double-A-layer MAX phase Mo2Ga2C
The present study reports the thermal conductivity and electrical transport properties of Mo2Ga2C, which is the first member of double-A-layer MAX phases. Dense bulk samples of Mo2Ga2C were prepared by vacuum hot pressing.

Emerging properties of non-crystalline phases of graphene and boron nitride based materials
We review recent developments on the synthesis and properties of two-dimensional materials which, although being mainly of an sp2 bonding character, exhibit highly disordered, non-uniform and structurally random morphologies.

Fractional composition of large crystallite grains: a unique microstructural parameter to explain conduction behavior in single phase undoped microcrystalline silicon [PDF]
We have studied the dark conductivity of a broad microstructural range of plasma deposited single phase undoped microcrystalline silicon films in a wide temperature range (15 - 450K) to identify the possible transport mechanisms and the interrelationship

Low temperature thermal properties of mesoscopic normal-metal/superconductor heterostructures [PDF]
Although the electrical transport properties of mesoscopic metallic samples have been investigated extensively over the past two decades, the thermal properties have received far less attention.

Ordered phase transformation and Cu doping effects in room-temperature ferromagnetic Sr3YCo4O10.5+δ
Sr3YCo4O10.5+δ (314-SYCO), with an unusual ordered structure and a high Curie temperature (Tc ≈ 335 K), is attracting increasing attention. Herein, to improve the electrical performance of 314-SYCO, Cu-doped Sr3YCo4−xCuxO10.5+δ (x = 0–0.8) ceramics were ...

Microstructure and Anisotropic Order Parameter of Boron-Doped Nanocrystalline Diamond Films
Unconventional superconductivity in heavily boron-doped nanocrystalline diamond films (HBDDF) produced a significant amount of interest. However, the exact pairing mechanism has not been understood due to a lack of understanding of crystal symmetry ...
