Robust control design of an electro-hydraulic actuator [PDF]
2014 IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics, 2014 The paper proposes a hierarchical control design of an electro-hydraulic actuator. The high-level hydromotor is modeled with a linear form with parametric uncertainty, while the low-level spool valve is modeled with a polynomial system. The subsystems require different control strategies.

Backstepping Control of Electro-Hydraulic Arm
2018 6th International Conference on Control Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT), 2018 In this study, positioning control of the electro hydraulic systems is considered. Backstepping control strategy is designed by defining an auxiliary error signal. The performance of the controller is investigated by conducting numerical simulations. From the simulation results, it is seen that the control objective achieved successfully.
