Principal component analysis of atrial fibrillation: Inclusion of posterior ECG leads does not improve correlation with left atrial activity [PDF]
Background Lead V? is routinely analysed due to its large amplitude AF waveform. V? correlates strongly with right atrial activity but only moderately with left atrial activity. Posterior lead V? correlates strongest with left atrial activity.

Ultra‐Thin Soft Pneumatic Actuation for Minimally Invasive Neural Interfacing
Parylene C is a common polymer in bioelectronics, favored for its biological and chemical inertness. However, this makes bonding layers of Parylene C together very challenging. Here it is a laser to selectively weld layers of Parylene C to create high‐pressure fluidic actuation devices.

Chemically Doped Conductive Polymers for Wearable Health Monitoring
Among conductive polymers, poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), polyaniline (PANI), and polypyrrole (PPy) are the most studied and applied. Chemical doping significantly boosts intrinsic conductivity and mechanical robustness.

Acute myocardial infarction in a patient with Wolff-Parkinson-white pattern ECG
Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome produces repolarisation electrocardiogram (ECG) changes that can both mimic and mask myocardial infarction. Concurrent presentation with both conditions can cause extreme difficulty with ECG interpretation. We present

An unseen ′face′ of hyperkalemia
Hyperkalemia with normal or minimal electrocardiogram (ECG) changes is not commonly encountered. The ′milder′ presentation may mask and hence lead to an under-management of a severe hyperkalemia.

Passive Shape‐Adaptive Fluidic Interface for Enhanced Skin‐Sensor Coupling in Wearable Devices
This study presents a passive fluidic interface for wearable biosensors that adapts to static and dynamic body shape changes to maintain consistent skin contact. Flexible, fluid‐filled pouches redistribute pressure from high‐load areas to regions requiring improved contact, enhancing signal quality and comfort in a compact, low‐energy design for ...
