The Electrochemical Behavior of Molybdenum

Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1969
The anodic and cathodic polarization of molybdenum in was investigated. In deaerated solutions, two stable rest potentials, 0.368 and −0.020v vs. NHE, were observed, depending on the activation procedure. In aerated solutions, only the rest potential of 0.368v was observed.

The electrochemical behavior of pyridine

Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1961
1. In the reduction of pyridine on a mercury dropping electrode, along with the catalytically evolved hydrogen there occurs reduction of pyridine with formation of a surface active polymeric product. 2. The increase in catalytic wave in pyridlne solutions with time depends on the catalytic action of the polymeric product which ...

The Electrochemical Behavior of Uranium

Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1962
The potential behavior of uranium was studied in both oxidizing and nonoxidizing modia. A low critical anodic current and a very high critical potential for passivity were observed. In the presence of oxygen especially interesting behavior was noted. Oxygen, while passivating the corroding electrode, was reduced to form hydrogen peroxide.
